Wine Tasting Class in Chateau des Fines Roches
Last wednedsay I lead a group of 10 persons for a Wine Tasting class in Chateau des Fines Roches in Chateauneuf du Pape.
In one houre and half we went through :
- The history of Chateauneuf du Pape and the appellation system
- The natural specificities of the appellation (diversity of the soils, climat, grapes...)
- The proper technics for tasting wine
- 1 white and 2 reds Chateauneuf du Pape
Château des Fines Roches white, Domaine Mathieu red and Domaine Mestre red was part of the program.
