Provence wine tours with clients from different countries this week

This week I had a couple of wine tours from Avignon with clients from different parts of the World.

They learned  about the French Classification of the wine which was created in 1936. They also learned about all of the specificities of Chateauneuf du Pape : the diversity of the soils, the climat, the different varieties of grapes but also the different restrictions that the wine makers have to respect to be part of the Chateauneuf du Pape Appellation. (The yield, the harvest made by hands, the irrigation...).

We also had several wine tasting and figured out the different styles of Chateauneuf du Pape Wines.
